100% Wheat Berries—Rouge De Bordeaux 1800s heritage wheat

Ready for home milling! These wheat berries are the very same we are using to grow a fresh crop of heritage wheat and hopefully get milling ourselves! If you have a home mill, this wheat will take you straight back into history with a flavor beloved by our ancestors. 

Rouge De Bordeaux is a heritage wheat variety that has a nutty, almost cinnamon flavor, and is considered easier to digest than modern wheat. We are excited to grow this on our Montana ranch/farm. Big thanks to Mark in ND for keeping this variety alive & sharing knowledge & seeds! This batch was lovingly grown on his small farm. God & weather willing, our crop this fall will be milled into flour by us on the ranch. Stay tuned!
